The 3D Geo server solutions facilitate the administration of complex geodata assets, e.g., virtual 3D city models and 3D building information models, and manage these geo contents for large spatial extensions, for large user groups, and a variety of application fields.

3D digital terrain models, 2D raster and vector geodata, 3D building models, 3D vegetation models, and georeferenced thematic data can be stored in the database in an unified way. The database scheme and the built-in web services support CityGML and additional OGC web service standards. Due to the open and transparent system architecture, the server functionality can be configured and scaled to the application's needs, and multiple client applications, including 3D Geo's OGC viewer client, can be seamlessly connected to the server.
